I have been a youth baseball coach for 25 plus years. I have played youth and high school football. In 2003 I was approached by a former coach and teammate Stacey Thompson about refereeing youth football. I was excited about the opportunity. I started with Big Apple youth football. I worked my way up to currently be a certified NYSPHS Official.

My passion is working with the youth. I enjoy teaching them about about the sport as well as preparing them for High School football. I referee high school as well so that gives me an advantage to teach them even more. I pride myself on being a fair referee. I do not pick sides nor play favorites. I pride myself on my reputation. While my coaching days are behind me, I truly enjoy being a referee because it still keeps me connected to the sport and the youth that play. I love seeing children grow on and off the field,
